Huygens Australian Tour: Workshop at MMI, Monash University
March 24, 2026, Melbourne, Australia
A collaboration with the Monash Micro Imaging facility (MMI)
This is a truly rare opportunity—traveling all the way from the Netherlands, SVI will offer a one-day, on-site workshop at MMI.
If you are interested in obtaining the best possible images for accurate image analysis, this workshop is for you.
Through hands-on sessions using Huygens Software, you will learn how to deconvolve images correctly, and how to identify and correct imaging issues such as blur, noise, crosstalk, drift, and chromatic aberration, and vignetting. This will result in high-quality input data for quantitative analyses. We will also perform reliable colocalization and object analysis methods for 2D, 3D, and time-series data.
This workshop is a joint collaboration and will be staffed by members of the Monash Micro Imaging facility (MMI), and Jasper van der Rijst (MSc) en Vincent Schoonderwoert (PhD) on behalf of SVI. The workshop will be held at MMI..............adddress........Melbourne, Australia.
A Huygens Software workshop license and demo images will be made available for computers and personal laptops.
Note: This workshop is open to everyone but limited seats are available, be quick to register! We reserve the right to give people from Monash University priority.
