Ideal for assessing acquisition quality, monitoring microscope performance, or troubleshooting image issues. Simply load your sample or bead image in Essential or Professional, run the QC option, and receive a thorough analysis in minutes—with alerts for potential problems. Each issue can be explored in the Help section and addressed directly in the tool.

For bead images, you’ll also get a detailed PSF property list, including 3D FWHM values, channel shift parameters, SNR, and more.

PSF shape analysis

Huygens Quality Control checks bead image data for all the issues mentioned. In addition, it assesses the Point-Spread-Function (PSF) quality of your microscope and generates a detailed report including:

PSF asymmetry

PSF surface sphericity

PSF skewed intensities

PSF tilting

FWHM bead average

FWHM experimental PSF

FWHM theoretical PSF

Note: PSF analysis in the QC option requires the PSF Distiller option.
