Check if your images meet scientific standards with this Image Quality Control (QC) tool! Whether you're unsure about your acquisition, curious about image quality, or monitoring your microscope's performance, this tool is your go-to solution.
Simply load your sample or bead image in Essential or Professional and run the QC option, which then thoroughly analyzes the image within minutes and alerts you to any potential problems. If you are interested in learning more about each issue, you can read the Help section. Each detected issue can be directly verified and fixed through the QC tool.
For any bead image that is loaded, you will also receive a detailed point spread function (PSF) property list, including 3D FWHM values, channel shift parameters, SNR etcetera.

PSF shape analysis
Huygens Quality Control checks bead image data for all the issues mentioned. In addition, it assesses the Point-Spread-Function (PSF) quality of your microscope and generates a detailed report including:
PSF asymmetry
PSF surface sphericity
PSF skewed intensities
PSF tilting
FWHM bead average
FWHM experimental PSF
FWHM theoretical PSF
