Simple movies consisting of one linear transition (for example a 360 rotation) can be easily made inside the 3D MIP renderer as long as your license also contains the Movie Maker. In the Movie Maker itself you can make more complex movies consisting of multiple scenes and transitions. To make a Movie in the MIP renderer first set the rendering angles and zoom as you like for the first image of the movie, then in the movie tab (top right corner) select this as first scene. Now rotate and or zoom the image to the final scene and set this as Last scene. It is advised to use the high quality rendering mode for both scenes (bottom right corner). In the Movie tab you can also set the number of frames and frame rate. After clicking on the film-roll icon at the bottom the movie can be saved as a mp4 file. The movie will consist of a linear transition from the first scene to the last scene.
First, select the high quality rendering mode (in the bottom right corner). After that you can save the image in the File menu (File -> export) or by useing the ctrl + S key combination. This will open the Export MIP image window. Here you can select the width and height of the image. It is advised to keep the ratio between the width and height the same as the ratio in the canvas (this is the default). After clicking "Export" you can chose between saving the image as a RBG TIFF or JPEG image.
