FAQ
Huygens Object Tracker tracks the movement of cells and particles in time series images. By manually selecting just a few objects and background regions, the machine learning algorithm in the Object Tracker is sufficiently trained to automatically detect new objects. Learn more.
If the detection of objects is not satisfactory, you could adjust the detection in the Optimizing Object Detection stage of the wizard. In this screen it is still possible to add, delete, or modify the selections. You can also adjust thresholds for the detection, namely the score, width and brightness of objects. The score is a qualitative measure for the probability that the detected object should indeed be classified as ‘object’. This threshold can be changed in order to make the Object Tracker less or more sensitive. Besides the score, thresholds can be set for the width and brightness of the objects in the same way.
