Free online Object Analysis Workshop. Oct 24, 2024

If you are planning to organize an imaging course at your department or imaging facility, feel free to contact us. We would be more than happy to contribute by sending you slides for presentations, demo images, and also test versions for the Huygens Software.

Response Virtual Huygens Imaging Workshop 2022

Since a few years, we organize Virtual Huygens Workshops focusing on image analysis and what is needed to get the best possible results from your image using Huygens renowned deconvolution and restorationon. More than a thousand researchers joined these courses already, and many shared their feedback with us. We are pleased that this has been only positive sofar. Recordings of these Workshops are available as well as several protocols, to get more familiar with image restoration and analysis, and the Huygens Software.

Remote workshop for new customers

Remote workshops are offered to introduce deconvolution and the Huygens software to our customers and their users. This service is part of the Maintenance and Upgrade (M&U) contract. New licenses include a full year of M&U and additional years can be purchased.

On-site workshops

Scientific Volume Imaging on-site workshops and courses are provided at conferences and research institutes all over the world. Several courses are given annually. If you are interested in a course at your Institute or in its vicinity, you can contact us.

Huygens imaging training at our Office

For many years, we offered Huygens imaging trainings at our SVI headquarters in Hilversum, The Netherlands. During the COVID pandemic, we shifted to virtual meetings. Until further notice, we'll continue with organizing these virtual workshops.

Huygens allows me to do my work - period. I work at a tough biological interface: bacterial interactions in microcolonies on the surface of host tissues (gut, the endovascular system, etc). And the bug I study most is *tiny* - you can fit more than a dozen of them inside an E. coli cell. Even using super-resolution techniques, it can be hard to demonstrate these interactions clearly. Using Huygens is like putting on my glasses in the morning - what was blurry and indistinct become clear and focused. Wins my personal "most valuable player" award every year!

The SVI Huygens training course is one of the best image processing and analysis courses that I have attended. Some of the reasons for this is the friendly and including atmosphere provided by a highly skilled and service-minded staff. The course had an excellent mix between theoretical and practical sessions, where all questions brought up during the course received full attention and was addressed in a very good manner. I also liked that there was several presenters, so that for each topic an SVI expert presented hers/his special area of interest/research, making the talks compelling and comprehensive.
