Workshop: “Huygens Deconvolution, Visualization and Analysis”
Wednesday 18th of May, for facility managers and experienced users
Thursday 19th of May, for all users
Friday 20th of May, for all users
If you are interested in producing true, high-quality 3D or 4D microscopy images then these full day workshops may be of interest to you. Demonstrations of Huygens software will be given, and in addition topics essential to image analysis that will be discussed include: acquisition pitfalls, spherical aberration, photon noise, Point Spread Functions, Nyquist rate sampling and deconvolution.
Computers with Huygens installed will be available for attendees. Because of the limited number of computers, please sign up for one of the workshop days by contacting Dr. Juraj Kabat (JKabat@niaid.nih.gov). You can start exploring how image deconvolution can improve your 2D/3D images by downloading the Huygens software from the SVI website and requesting a demo license (
http://www.svi.nl).
