Huygens Germany Tour: Workshop at Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology
September 18, 2026, Magdeburg, Germany
A collaboration with the Combinatorial NeuroImaging Facility
This is a rare opportunity - SVI from the Netherlands will offer a one-day, on-site workshop at LIN Magdeburg. Location: Ebbinghaus Hall, ground floor LIN Magdeburg. Brenneckestraße 6.
9:30 - 10:30 Seminar. Open for everyone. Title: Getting the best possible image from your microscope and image 20x longer/faster
10:45 - 15:00 Workshop. Huygens Hands-on Workshop for image restoration and reliable analysis. Registration required (see below).
Using Huygens Software, you will learn how to deconvolve images correctly, and how to identify and correct imaging issues such as blur, noise, crosstalk, drift, chromatic aberration, and vignetting. This will result in high-quality input data for quantitative analyses. We will also perform reliable colocalization and object analysis methods. This workshop is a joint collaboration and will be staffed by members of the Combinatorial NeuroImaging Facility, and SVI.
A Huygens Software workshop license and demo images will be made available for computers and personal laptops.
Note: This workshop is open to everyone but limited seats are available, be quick to register! We reserve the right to give people from LIN Magdeburg priority.
